Hey there crafty friends!  So glad you came by today.  Its hop day over at Hero Arts for the newest My Monthly Hero Kit.  This kit is amazing!  Stamps, dies, ink paper, embossing powder....everything you need to make a bunch of cards!  And the best part is the theme.  The great outdoors!  I am from Colorado and I grew up camping so when I saw the images and dies in this kit....I was hooked!

CARDS

The main kit stamp set has the most amazing images to create mountains, a forest of trees, or a lake with a dock or all of the above.  I added several of the images in to create this lake/mountain scene....

First, I did some ink blending on the background panel to create the lake and sky.  I stamped and die cut the mountains and the tree link and then added those to the card.  I stamped the dock along with the sentiment and added those to the card front as well.  Last, I stamped and die cut the cute little swimmer silhouette and then added some birds in the sky.  I love how all these images are so easy to use to make a fun scene.  

There is an add-on that you can buy that is SO stinking' cute!  Its' a little camper!

Or couse, I had to make it vintage.  I masked off the top and added in some pink ink along the bottom. The 2 stripes come out when you die cut and I added some gold ink to those to add the trim on.  

I added some black Copic to the tire and a gray copic to the hitch.  The window are covered with vellum and then I added little curtains behind.  I took a white card base and added a gray panel to the bottom of the card with the heat embossed sentiment along the bottom an then popped the camper up on foam tape.
